Clickable Image
In the World Wide Web, an onscreen image that leads you to another location or activates an operation when you click on it--in contrast to an image used only for display. Also called a "live" or "hot" image.

Technically, a clickable image is an anchor (starting point for a link) or imagemap (a region that reports click locations to the server so software there can respond to a particular selection). Anchors are usually indicated by colored outlines around the image, while moving the the cursor over the active area of an imagemap is reported on the browser program's status line.
