isr.co.ro : glossary Imagemap On the World Wide Web, a picture that reports any mouse clicks by subregion, and so allowing further processing or linking based on selections within the image made by the user. For example, an imagemap allows a page to show a building map, and lets you indicate where you want to go next by clicking on a particular room. Generally, imagemaps have to be supported by the browser as well as by the server, so they don't work on many early browser versions or text-based programs.
